Description
Basil Marseillais has medium-sized green leaves of varying lightness.
More fragrant than Genovese, with a finer taste.
Very suitable for pot growing.
Growing instructions
Grow in rich, moist soil. Full sun exposure.
Sowing: 0.5 cm deep in pots or in the ground in rows, 20 cm apart.
Too much watering during emergence causes seedlings to melt.
Plant in the ground or in pots around May 10 or 15.
Emergence: 3 to 4 days in soil at 18°C
Requires light and warmth to germinate.
Soil preparation: loosen the soil (20 cm deep) before sowing with an organic fertilizer (rich in humus).
Cut 3 cm above the soil so that it can rise: by watering regularly, you will be able to make 2 cuts, and grow new stems.
