A plant needs a great deal of phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) during its flowering cycle; phosphorus (P) ensures faster cell division of buds, which then increase in size. Potassium also stimulates sugar production in the buds, fully benefiting the smell and taste of the final product. Phosphorus also plays an essential role in the plant's metabolic processes. Potassium (K) maintains adequate water levels in the plant. As a result, the plant develops a more robust stem and stronger branches, leading to a better harvest.
The right mix of phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) is essential for a good harvest.
