This tester will allow you to measure the electro-conductivity (or EC) of nutrient solutions to the nearest hundredth (to 0.01)
The principle is simple, the elements included in these solutions produce electricity conducted in the liquid. The 2 electrodes of the tester, once inserted in the water, can then measure this current
This model takes into account the temperature of your solutions for its measurements thanks to its ATC technology. (Automatic Temperature Compensation).
Conversion scale: 1.0 ec = 700 ppm
Power supply: LR44 LR1130 alkaline button cell(s).
