Product details

The Ecotechnics Unis CO2 Controller has been specially designed to enrich your growing space with CO2 by calculating the necessary flow rate in relation to the size of your growing space. It comes with the Ecotechnics CO2 pressure gauge and regulator. Only the CO2 bottle is not supplied. It is compatible with all sizes of CO2 bottles, only the bottle's nozzle must be compatible with the controller. The controller connects to your CO2 cylinder, then it calculates the ideal volume of CO2 in relation to the size of the place where it is placed. This saves you from having to calculate the flow rate of CO2 in relation to the size of your space and the pressure of the cylinder. 3 in 1, it does both: Pressure gauge to measure the pressure in your CO2 cylinder) Flow meter to control the flow of gas released Solenoid valve to open and close the flow of CO2 from the cylinder There is no need to change the flow rate of the pressure gauge, it is factory preset to the controller to make setup and operation simple. The ambient level of CO2 in the air is 300 to 400 ppm. Plants growing in your grow room or greenhouse can use up all the available CO2 in less than an hour and cause a slowdown in photosynthesis. Therefore carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the most important factors. Photosynthesis is a biochemical process that allows plants, algae and some microorganisms, thanks to the energy provided by the sun's rays, to transform water and CO2 into organic matter (carbohydrates). The reaction is an oxidation of CO2 by water. The plant through photosynthesis rejects oxygen into the atmosphere. However, the plant breathes and the reverse process occurs with a release of CO2 and unlike photosynthesis which is carried out only during the day, the plant breathes day and night. The balance in terms of capturing CO2 in the atmosphere (photosynthesis minus respiration) varies from plant to plant. However, the balance is very positive since it is estimated at 50% (i.e. half of the CO2 captured is not rejected and is used for the growth of the plant).
